Why you should consider an internship

The Role of the Student
- To begin the process please fill out the Internship Questionnaire . If needed, 与顾问或CTE专家一起起草一份引人注目的简历和求职信，提交给实习组织.
- Meet internship organization qualification requirements.
- 完成BG体育(CCC)和实习组织要求的所有文件. (Please see Additional Documents )
- Schedule internship hours to meet internship organization needs.
- 与实习教师合作，确定实习活动与学术研究相关的学习成果和策略. 完成实习学习合同并提交给教师或实习专员.
- 实习学习合同提交，班级创建完成后, 学生有责任为实习登记并支付相应的课程费用.e., XXX289, Internship at XXXX).
- 保持每周的时间和活动记录，并按要求提交给实习教员.
- 完成规定的学习成果，任何作业，以及所需实习时间的数量.
- 参与旨在提供组织概况的活动.
- 以奉献、热情和成熟的态度对待责任.

The Role of the Supervising Faculty Member
- 推荐和推荐符合条件的学生实习安排，并协助学生安排实习. Students can begin the process by completing the Internship Questionnaire form.

- Regularly review Intern Timesheet and Daily Logs.
- Review Work-site Supervisor’s Evaluation of Intern, Intern Feedback Form, and any other required project materials.
- Determine and assign final grade.
Role of the Employer
Employer Expectations (Employer and Work-site Supervisor):
- 指派一名有时间和能力的现场主管协助实习生的监督工作, training and mentoring.

- Provide meaningful assignments and projects, within the constraints of the student’s time and abilities, to enhance and complement the student’s academic program goals.

- 通过填写实习工作现场主管评估表来评估学生的实习表现. Discuss the evaluation with the student. (Please see Additional Documents )
